Morro Bay State Park

Explore – Morro Bay State Park

Morro Bay State Park is located on California’s beautiful central coast and features wetlands, mudflats, coastal scrub and more! Many different animals and plants call Morro Bay home, including a very special marine mammal, the Southern Sea Otter.

Join Park Interpreter Libbie to learn how Southern Sea Otters are adapted to their habitat and what humans can do to help this endangered species. Students will be asked to actively participate during this program as we explore outside around the estuary habitat.

Programs are offered on Thursday mornings and are geared towards students in 2nd – 5th grades.
