Join us for an unforgettable kayaking adventure at the “crown jewel of the California State Park System”, Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. We will paddle above the enchanting underwater kelp forest in Whalers Cove and uncover how giant kelp plays a crucial role in maintaining the health of our marine ecosystem. Beneath the waves is one of California’s oldest Marine Protected Areas that is teeming with an array of fascinating marine life.

We will explore the impacts humans have on kelp forests and what we can do to protect our ocean, no matter where you live. Come aboard, paddle out, and dive into the magic of kelp forests. This program is designed for K-8 students.
