Sonoma State Historic Park

Come experience Sonoma State Historic Park, which includes Mission San Francisco Solano , the last mission established in California as well as the only mission built during the Mexican Era of California history. Sonoma State Historic Park also includes General Vallejo’s Home, called Lachryma Montis (Tear of the Mountain). It was the estate of General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, Military Commander and Director of Colonization of the Northern Frontier and founder of Pueblo de Sonoma. .
