Old Town San Diego State Historic Park is located on the ancestral lands of the Kumeyaay. It is rich with California history and cultural resources.

In 1769, San Diego became California's first Spanish settlement when a mission and fort were established in Old Town. In 1821, it passed into the hands of the newly made Mexican government before becoming part of the United States after the Mexican American War.

Virtually visit Blackhawk Livery Stable where you will have the chance to observe and engage with a real blacksmith as they work and even design your own brand!
