Follow a tour guide through the historic immigration detention barracks at Angel Island State Park. Most have heard about Ellis Island, but many haven’t heard about the Chinese Exclusion Act that cast a shadow over immigration policy from 1910 to 1940. If you couldn’t secure a PORTS program for your class, this is the option for you! While the tour guide won’t be able to hear and interact with your students directly like they can in our usual PORTS, you will be able to submit your questions with a Q&A feature.
