Join California State Parks Interpreter Isabella in reading the story book “The Hidden Forest” by Jeannie Baker! Students will follow along in the sweet story of a boy named Ben whose fish trap gets lost in the kelp forest. While Ben is nervous to get in the water, he overcomes his fear and is amazed at what’s beneath the surface.

This story is presented at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, in front of the kelp forest! Students will have opportunities to look for wildlife and learn about how to protect this important habitat.
