Join us for a live virtual tour of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park’s Casa de Estudillo, revisiting its use from 1910 into the 1960s as the tourist attraction Ramona’s Marriage Place. Focusing on the lives and roles of two women, “Ramona,” author Helen Hunt Jackson and architect Hazel Wood Waterman, this program will examine how the former family home was changed, erasing some histories and romanticizing others all while giving a physical presence to colonial fantasy.
