Pacific Crest Trail – All Things PCT!

Students will glimpse into history from the inside of their classroom with a view of the Pacific Crest Trail. Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area has a portion of the PCT running directly through it, giving the best view of the lake. Students will connect its long history, linking it to Native Americans, European Settlers, and up to modern-day recreational use. It is an important part of history for the west coast of North America as it runs from Mexico all the way to Canada.
