Wetlands and Watersheds – 01/31/2025 08:30 AM

Description: We are all connected to our one global ocean through our local watersheds. Join us at San Elijo State Beach as we dive into how watersheds work, how they connect us to the ocean, and actions we can take to keep our local watersheds healthy. Students will observe the outlet where water flows from an urban watershed and estuary. They will also get to learn about Swamis State Marine Conservation Area, a marine protected area essential in supporting and restoring a healthy and balanced ocean ecosystem.
