Sea Otters of Morro Bay

Morro Bay State Park is located on California's beautiful central coast and features wetlands, mudflats, coastal scrub and more! Many different animals and plants call Morro Bay home, including a very special marine mammal, the Southern Sea Otter.

Join Interpreter Libbie to learn about the Morro Bay estuary and the sea otters that live here. We will study the adaptations that allow otters to thrive in this unique ecosystem. Students will be asked to actively participate during this program as we explore outside around the estuary habitat. This program is designed for 3rd-6th grade students.
