Olompali State Historic Park

Explore the historic landscape of Olompali

From marshes, to grassland, Oak groves, and hills, Olompali has an incredibly diverse landscape that supports the life of numerous species of plants and animals and of course humans.

For the last 8000 years people have been making Olompali their home. It has been the site of villages and trade hubs for the Coast Miwok, a Mexican Rancho, and a Victorian estate.

Students will join Interpreter Evan as they learn about Olompali's unique history, landscape, and how it all relates to the History of California.
