There are two types of field trips offered at Chino Hills State Park:

The Biodiversity Connections Field Trip is a 3 hour journey thought the native habitats. This trip is best suited for grades with a basic understanding of habitats. Be ready to be wowed by the vastness of our wildlife corridor while we investigate space and migration.

The STEAM Journals field trip is a 2 hour interactive field trip. Park staff will guide students along chaparral trails and through a curated nature garden, and share with them secret of key nature concepts through journaling in the wild.

Chino Hills State Park is excited to offer blended-access programs through PassPORTS, which offers Title I public schools with a field trip reimbursement grant to experience the park both virtually and in-person! Visit the PassPORTS page to learn more, and submit a request form to get started!
