Humboldt Redwoods State Park Guided In-Person Field Trip

Explore Humboldt Redwoods State Park!

Join us for a 2-3 hour guided field trip at Humboldt Redwoods State Park! Before your field trip, you will get to choose activities that will fit the unit standards and needs of your class. Students will learn about the park’s natural and cultural heritage by exploring our redwood forests, its habitats, stories, and places. From the Eel River watershed to women’s redwood conservation herstory, old-growth redwood forests have something for everyone. Guided field trips typically take 2-3 hours to complete, with a maximum group size of 50 students and a preferred adult to student ratio of 1:10.
