Crystal Cove State Park In-Person Field Trip!

Explore Crystal Cove State Park!

Join a CA State Park Interpreter for a 1-2 hour guided field trip activity at Crystal Cove State Park. Throughout the program, students will engage directly with natural resources at Crystal Cove SP, including the rocky shoreline, coastal chaparral, and vast Pacific ocean. Students may break into smaller groups to explore the tidepools (when tide is low) and the nature trails. We will explore Crystal Cove State Park’s Marine Protected Area (MPA) to explore topics including habitats, tides, adaptations, food chains, and defense mechanisms. Maximum 40 students per field trip.
