During this 2 hour multisensory tour, participants will learn how California's second gold rush (citrus) helped shape and develop California today, the various groups of people that played an important role in the industry through their labor and technological developments, and the role two small navel orange trees played in the birth of an industry in Riverside. Additionally, students will experience the broad diversity of citrus fruit through enjoying an on-site citrus tasting.

The maximum capacity for each field trip is 70 students. If you have any immediate questions or concerns please contact citrusschooltours@gmail.com. Once your field trip is scheduled you will receive a document link in your confirmation email.
