Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a 57-acre California State Park is located just southwest of downtown Culver City. To some Los Angeles area residents, the site is more commonly known as the Culver City Stairs. This outdoor staircase is designed into the trails leading up to a view of the greater Los Angeles area. An island of preserved wildland in an urban jungle, this park is the perfect place to explore the interaction between nature and humans and learn about the importance of community advocacy in maintaining green spaces for future generations.

 

This park is eligible for a FREE blended-access fieldtrip through Every Kid Outdoors and PassPORTS!

Your blended-access program combines a virtual and an in-person experience. Transportation and other fieldtrip related expenses are covered for approved applicants. Fieldtrips at each park are granted depending on availability.
