“The Snail and the Whale” Story Time! – 05/20/2024 09:00 AM

Join California State Parks Interpreter Kat in reading the story book “The Snail and the Whale” by Julia Donaldson! Students will follow along in the sweet story of a snail riding on the tail of a humpback whale through our global ocean! One day, the snail must save the whale, but she worries she may be too small for the job. Can she save the whale?

Students will be asked to consider how we treat marine animals and how we can make the ocean a safer place all marine life!

This story is presented in front of MacKerricher State Park’s fully articulated gray whale skeleton that students will have the opportunity to virtually explore with Interpreter Kat!
