Once Upon a Redwood

Step into the story of the tallest trees with Once Upon a Redwood! In this interactive virtual program, student will uncover the missing chapters of the redwood forest's story in Redwood National and State Park and explore how these ancient trees have survived time. Students will investigate redwood adaptations, discover the connections between plants and animals within the forest ecosystem, and learn how indigenous stewardship, conservation, and restoration continue to shape the future of these remarkable forests. Through storytelling, discussion, and observation, students will discover that they can help write the next chapter of the redwood story. This program is designed for K-5.
