Story Time at Hearst Castle with ‘How a House is Built” by G. Gibbons

Are your students curious about building? It took a team of skilled workers 28 years to build Hearst Castle. Together with an interpretive guide, your students will explore ideas of design and construction by reading a book called “How a House is Built” by Gail Gibbons. After our story, we will apply these learned concepts to Hearst Castle while we explore the house and the Neptune Pool. This program incorporates STEAM ideas and concepts such as teamwork, planning, and imagination. Suitable for K-2.
