Kelp Forest Exploration

Discover the less explored side of Point Lobos- the ocean! Giant kelp forests underneath the salt water surface lead to an alien world of beauty, wonder and wildness. Weather permitting, we will travel together in a kayak to explore Whaler’s Cove, learn about the Kelp Forest habitat, and engage in nature observation activities. This program is designed for K-8th grade students but can be modified for older students.
