Help the Kelp!

How can we help the kelp? Join California State Parks interpreter Kenzi at Mendocino Headlands State Park to explore kelp forest recovery in northern California! In this program, we will learn about kelp forest ecology, the role of keystone species (like sea otters and sunflower sea stars) in maintaining biodiversity, the role of climate in the health of the kelp, and kelp forest restoration projects happening throughout the state. This program is best for middle and high school students.
