Explore the Coastal Sandhill Habitat

Join us for a virtual field trip through the Sandhills at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. This is a free virtual program that gives students the opportunity to explore one of the most sensitive and endangered ecosystems in the greater Santa Cruz Area, the Santa Cruz Sandhills. This habitat does not support Coast Redwood trees, but instead, a community of unique plants and animals, many of which are endemic and/or endangered. This program is appropriate for all ages.
