How do salt marshes absorb carbon from the atmosphere? Who lives in a salt marsh? How can these fascinating, slimy, and special biomes help us adapt and combat climate change? Join us for Climate Change Champions: Exploring Salt Marshes at Tomales Bay State Park! Together, we'll explore one of the park's most important habitats and learn about how salt marshes capture and store blue carbon, promote and support biodiversity, AND how they can help coastal communities adapt to sea level rise. This program is designed for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade audiences.
