Ancient Tools and Technology

In this STEAM geared program at Lake Perris State Recreation Area, students will explore the concept of technology through the lens of hunting tools used in the ancient world. The program will examine how these tools were used to help ensure survival in a world without modern conveniences, and can still be useful today.

Through demonstration of the tools, students will gain an understanding of their functions and the physics behind how they work, and gain an appreciation for human innovation throughout our history.
