Aesthetics, animals, advantages…marine protected areas (MPAs) have it all!
Dive into the science of marine protected areas at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve with Interpreter Isabella. Students will learn how people and the ocean are interconnected and dependent on each other. We’ll talk about how MPAs are tools to protect the ocean, and the benefits they bring to people and ocean life alike. We’ll look around and see what animals we can find, too!
