(Recommended for 5-6th grade) Investigating Urban Interfaces is a two-hour program involves a one-hour hike while identifying plant and animal species in a part of the park not easily accessible for the general public! After a nature walk, students take engineering & design into their own hands by plotting points of conflict between community planning and natural areas, and will map out the ideal location for a wildlife crossing. Restrooms are not available in this program site.
