Yurok People Are Still Here – 04/17/2024 11:00 AM

Join Interpreter Maiya on a virtual walk-through of Sue-meg State Park Village! Students can explore the Yurok Redwood Canoe, Living House, Dress Houses, and the Sweat House. As we visit each stop, students will discover the different uses of each redwood structure and learn about traditional materials that created a home for Yurok for thousands of years to the present day. This program is designed for grades 4-6.
