Join us at Marshall Gold Discovery SHP as we explore the history of the Coloma Valley before, during and after the Discovery of Gold. During our program, the trees of the Coloma Valley help us tell the story of the gold rush and its impact on the town of Coloma and the surrounding valley. By the end of this program, we will discover how these trees serve as reminders of historical events like the discovery of gold changed California both culturally and environmentally.
Note: This program is best suited for 4th and 5th grades
